If you wait until time of death their is only 3 options for payment (cash, check or credit card). If you prearrange you can pay it on your terms in monthly payments.

3.)Protects against rising funeral costs:
Funerals on average double in cost every 8-10 years.

4.) Removes the emotional burden from loved ones
At time of death the people handling your arrangements are not thinking with their head but thinking with their heart. They will always wonder if they did too much, or not enough, if that's how mom or dad wanted it etc...
